Summary: Members of the IHS Markit energy storage team attended ‘Energy Storage Europe’ in Düsseldorf on 12-14 March 2019. The major trends identified at the event included continued uptake in the commercial and industrial sector; potential new business models for storage to support the integration of electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging; as well as the emergence of opportunities in new European markets.
