On September 28, SolarWorld and Suniva proposed new petition terms. The new proposals include a tariff of $0.25 per watt on cells and $0.32 per watt on modules in 2018. The tariff would be progressively reduced during the recommended 4-year period of relief. Under the tariff scenario, IHS Markit forecasts the United States will install 27 GW of utility-scale PV and 19 GW of distributed residential and commercial PV during the period.
