Need more Information?

Even as the demand for residential solar PV systems in Europe has more than halved since the peak in 2012, the market is far from dead. Thanks to the sharp decline in module prices, and new support schemes across Europe, IHS Markit projects that the region’s residential PV installations will grow in 2017 to exceed 1.5 GW. As feed-in tariffs have been scaled back or even abolished, the drivers for residential PV now differ greatly between markets. This report takes a detailed look at the conditions for residential PV systems in 13 markets.
